I've enjoyed this entire series. The characters and the whole premise for the separate shifter territory were very engaging. I would have liked a little more info on how Darius made it back, on Kieran and Misty's life and if there were anymore traitors to deal with. Overall a satisfactory conclusion to a good series.
There is a reason that Harmony Raines is one of my all time favorite authors, and that is because she knows how to write a book, whether it is paranormal romance or alien romance, and keep you interested throughout the book. She has you feeling all the emotions in the book and has you screaming for more!!! Oh let us not forget the mind boggling sex scenes....OH MY!!!! Reading your books will make you so hot your fanning as if your having hot flashes. "Fighting A Lion" has shooting, sex, running from bad people, fighting, oh and did I mention SEX? ) i definitely recommend this book to mature readers over the age of 18. Grab your copy today. Trust me you will not want to miss this FABULOUS AMAZING WONDERFUL Book!!!!
Misty Blue is a horse shifter working out her contract with Darius for the past two years She is released from her contract early and Misty Blue knows that she is not to question the reason she has been released early, but then she sees a side of Darius and she realizes that he is a shifter too. He is stuck on the wrong side of the border just like she is and he urges her to leave and don't ask any questions. She prepares to leave for the border when she is kidnapped. Misty soon understands why Darius had told her to leave quickly for the border. There are people who will go to any length to find out the secret that Darius is hiding, and she isn't going to let her kidnappers know anything about Darius. She is going to protect his secret as he has protected her for the past two years.
Kieran is a lion shifter who doesn't know what his animal is, but he knows that he is a shifter freak as they call him. He is a cage fighter, and he is really good at it. No one has ever beaten him, and he just keeps fighting because he enjoys the rewards (the women) that come with his job. Then out of the blue Misty enters his life, and he realizes that there is something special about her, but he isn't sure he wants to know exactly what it is. The pull to her is so strong that he is going to throw what he thinks is a good life away so that he can rescue her. Once he gets her away safely she informs him she is his mate and he decides to take her to safety across the border to Shifters Prime. The one place he swore he would never go, because he was taught to fear Shifters Prime. In helping Misty Blue and realizing that she is telling the truth that he is mate, he decides it is time to face his past, as well as his future.
Will Keiran and Misty Blue make across the border to Shifters Prime? Will they have a future together once he faces his past?

absolutely great - good beginning for trilogy
I liked the way this series ended with all parties finding hey love and family and the cause of the trouble being taken care of so neatly.
