What is a man to do when his father’s past comes back to haunt him?
That’s a question that Mickey Da’Leon doesn’t have an answer to. Waking up in an unfamiliar place he needs to find out who wants him harmed and why. Thinking that this may have something to do with his house being blown up back in Atlanta, he tries to figure out what enemies he may have created along the way. Soon he finds out that everything he thought he knew was all a façade. Secrets from the past are starting to be revealed and he soon finds out that generational curses have fallen on him. The person holding him captive won't rest until he is satisfied with causing as much harm to Mickey as possible, all because of something Mickey’s father stole from him years ago. Is Mickey ready to face his father’s demons or will the cost of those sins be too great for him to pay?

The story was good and I enjoyed it. However, this author needs to invest in a proof reader. She uses the wrong words in some places and the grammar is not good. If a person can get past that the story is interesting.Product details

I Chose this book because I wanted to read about what was going to happen with Micjey and tge rest of the family.
This story had a lot of violence and at times was all over the place. This wasn't my favorite Jenica book. The grammatical errors were many and this was hard to overlook
Trying to pay someone back for past sins or what you feel was unjust never gets a person what they think it will. Leave it and let God handle the situation, because when He fixes it's done well.
God's grace is amazing, I didn't see that ending coming. The characters were unbelievable, but we can't be forgiven until we are willing to forgive whatever. Out was hard to pour this book down with Salk the twists & turns.
I was happy to see that the setting was in Haiti and there was a great ending to the story. Thierry was not a nice man and I like how the one he was trying to kill is who saved his life.
So many twists and turns. Drama at every turn. The title says it all. Mickey really paid for his father's sins. I'm so glad God stepped in. Nobody is perfect and we all makes mistakes, but His grace and mercy will always prevail. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing. #UIP
The author shares insight into the country of Haiti, its practices, and its people. Unfortunately, more work was needed on both the writing and the character development, which took away from a very good story line.
